People love to say they “just need more time.”
But time isn’t what most people need. Time’s already happening — whether you use it or waste it.

What they really mean is they need discipline. They need a reason to wake up early and a reason to stop quitting halfway through. Because time doesn’t fix anything by itself. It just exposes who you are while you wait.

When I used to drink, I told myself the same lie — that I just needed time. Time to heal, time to change, time to “get it together.” But nothing ever changed until I stopped needing time and started using it. Every day I was breathing was time. I just wasn’t doing anything with it.

You don’t need time. You need pressure. You need to stand in the fire and learn to breathe through it. Because time plus pressure equals change. Time without pressure equals rot.

The 24 Hard Lines weren’t written for people waiting on the right moment — they were written for people who realize there’s never going to be one. The clock doesn’t care about your excuses. It only measures your action.

So do you need time?
No.
You need truth. You need work. You need to stop promising yourself a future and start earning one — right now, while the seconds are still yours.
