It isn’t just about a bottle.
It’s about the moment when something meant to numb the pain becomes the thing controlling you.
It’s about the human tendency to take something that was supposed to be temporary and turn it into a way of surviving.
I know what it feels like to run from pain instead of facing it. To try to silence something inside instead of understanding it.
But eventually you learn something:
The things you use to escape your pain will eventually become another prison.
The only way out is through.
You have to face the fire. You have to sit with the parts of yourself you tried to bury. You have to rebuild.
Because the goal isn’t to find something that makes you forget.
The goal is to become someone who no longer needs to.
